January 09, 2009 Company UpdateBard Ventures Ltd. ("Bard" or the "Company") wishes to announce that in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), it has received shareholder approval to adopt the Company's Shareholder Rights Plan (the "Rights Plan") at its Annual General Meeting held on January 9, 2009 (the "Meeting"). The Company has received conditional Exchange approval and will file the Rights Plan with the Exchange for final approval.
Also at the Meeting, all other routine matters of business were approved.
