Bard Ventures Ltd. ("Bard" or the "Company") wishes to announce that the Company has received final acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") of its Shareholder Rights Plan (the "Rights Plan") dated October 17, 2008 between the Company and Computershare Investor Services Inc. The Rights Plan was approved by shareholders on January 9, 2009 and is in effect for three years. Shareholders may access the Company's Rights Plan through the Internet on the Canadian System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) at www.sedar.com.
